I, too, AM A WOMAN!!!

In the 70's Helen Reddy sang out at the top of her voice what would become a life long anthem of the "women's liberation movement", "I am Woman! Oh yes, I am wise But it's wisdom born of pain. Yes, I've paid the price, But look how much I gained. If I have to, I can do anything!. I am strong (strong)! I am invincible (invincible)! I am woman!..I am woman, hear me roar!!!

Ladies, what have we really gained? Don't get me wrong, there certainly are some perks to being re-cognized for not only my beauty but my brains as well. I'm glad that we FINALLY have a president who agrees that women should be paid the same pay for the same work. And let us not forget the power in being allowed to LEGALLY garner credit & banking services in my own name. However, when we focus only on the gains, we absent mindedly overlook the ENORMOUS losses that women have suffered as a result of heavily tipping the scales toward what has now become a mutated, expression of masculinity in women.

The lyrics to the anthem say, "If I have to, I can do anything!!" Well ladies, many of us have been instrumental in creating situations where we now "HAVE TO." We have to raise children on our own. We have to be the sole financial providers for those children. We have to change the flat tire on our own (just saw this on the freeway today). And because we bought in to the coupling of the sexual revolution and the women's liberation movement, we even started to mis-behave (sexually) "like the boys" so now, we have to grow old without the BENEFIT of a long-term, monogamous, committed relationship.

Clearly, we have lost our balance. On my journey back to the authentic ME, I have found that I don’t necessarily subscribe to many of the general "tenants" of the modern day, independent woman. I still want to be pampered and adored by my man. I still want the HONOR of chivalry, even if it comes from a stranger. I would still like to think that if a man saw me stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire, that he would not have to hesitate as he contemplates whether or not my "strong, independent, liberated" ass will show appreciation for his kind gesture or completely come out of the bag on him and sing the SUPERWOMAN anthem, "I don't need no man to do anything for me!"

Personally, I DON'T WANT TO ROAR! I would much rather co-create a beautiful & harmonious blend between the strong & powerfully resonant roar of a man steeped in Supreme masculinity; sure of his role/position with the persuasively potent purr of a woman whose Divine femininity permeates every pour of her being; eager to submit to his proven leadership. I, too, AM WOMAN!!!

ONE POWERFUL QUESTION: What are you REALLY afraid of?? Too many of us ALLOW negative experiences from our PAST to become the controlling compass of the Divine Destination of our FUTURE.

We have carefully & painstakingly constructed a MENTAL prison of emotions, erroneous beliefs & reactionary behaviors, designed to defend our current false ILLUSION of a so-called "Comfort Zone."

We "say" with our MOUTH that we want love, wealth, health, success & happiness but by holding on to the pain in our MIND, we reject the process of TRANSFORMATION that is necessary in order to PRE-pare ourselves for the receipt of the desire in our HEART/SOUL.

The Un-mutable Laws of the Universe DO NOT discriminate, they simply respond to the deepest belief held in heart/soul of a man/woman – Not only is it “as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he; but so shall he receive. Unconsciously, our confusion creates the very situation(s) we most fear.

The Holy Scripture says: A double minded man/woman is unstable in ALL he/she does & therefore should not think that he/she will receive anything from the Lord (Law).

When was the last time you to asked the Most High for a blessing only to reject it because the lens through which you have chosen to view life continuously prevents you from re-COGNIZING the very thing YOU asked for? Know this, until you CHOOSE to GO THROUGH the TRANSFORMATION PROCESS, you will continue to CREATE INSTABILITY in your life.

One Powerful Question:Never be surprised by the presence of childish behavior when YOU CHOOSE to hang out at the playground. On the road to EVOLVED Relationships, Spiritual Liberation & Personal Responsibility, WE must eliminate the "child-play" of bad habits & excuses. If YOU REFUSE to accept mediocrity & excuses from your SELF why in the HELL would you accept it from others? It is time to ELEVATE YOUR game!!

The other day I was thinking about how powerful and beneficial technology has become. I mean, in 2010 we are now able to do things in 10 seconds that once took days, months and in some cases, years.

I can send an email to a friend on the other side of the planet with the click of the mouse - AWESOME!!

I can pay all of my household bills for the month right from my cellular phone - CONVENIENT!!

I can "meet" and have a "first date" with an unlimited number of prospective suitors and never even leave my home - FRIGHTENING!!!

The advent of dating services, speed-dating events & internet dating sites has eroded the once useful and necessary process of courtship & dating. It has created an environment of instant gratification which has led many of us to develop a sense of entitlement when it comes to love & relationships.

According to recent statistics, the average marriage in America lasts only 7.8 years. The staggering divorce rate in this country is enough to send a never married 40+ woman to the loony bin.

Just as I thought, "There has got to be a better way!!!" I was introduced to the inspiring story of "The Imperfect Marriage."

For those of you seeking knowledge on how to make love last, I suggest to pull out your pen & paper and take note.

Too many of us WASTE our time using the wrong bait, casting the wrong line (money, material possessions, physical charms & sexual prowess) for all the wrong reasons (insecurities, societal pressure, fear of being alone, keeping up with the Jones'). We SPEND all of our EFFORT & mental energy FISHING IN THE GUTTER FOR CARP (lower consciousness) – QUANTITY!!!

Although carp (common & average, known to be a bottom feeder) is plentiful and can be caught easily, with little or no effort on our parts, it all too often causes us to get caught up in the EXTERNAL ILLUSION that a bucket overflowing with the bountiful "catch of the day" can RE-PRESENT. The implications of this so called "harvest" can cause us to become lazy, complacent, ill-equipped, unPREpared and worst of all ARROGANT!! Believing that QUANTITY is the ultimate catch, we stunt our own mental, spiritual & emotional growth and with this violation of SELF (our spiritual GOD- SELF), we forget one of the GREATEST laws of nature: EVOLVE or DIE!!!

2) DO YOUR WORK & EVOLVE! STOP expecting to catch a QUALITY fish with the same old tired bait you used to catch QUANTITY!! IT WILL NOT WORK.

3) TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR & OWN UP TO YOUR CHOICES!!! No QUALITY fish, who has chosen to do their work, will tolerate being blamed or held responsible for your poor choices.

4) CHOOSE HEALTHY LOVE!! In order to experience HEALTHY LOVE, you must FIRST- Heal your heart & Heal your mind! Then, open your heart to the BEAUTIFUL gift of love which simply awaits your mental alignment.
